Obituary: Joseph Ray Bartley, 29, Bardstown

Joseph Ray Bartley, 29, of Bardstown, died Friday, Jan. 2, 2015, at his home. He was born May 5, 1985, in Nelson County to Stanley Wayne and Grace Marie Thornton Bartley. He was a construction worker.

He is survived by one son, Dominic Calvin Bartley of Bardstown; his parents, Wayne and Grace Bartley of Bardstown; one sister, Brittany Bartley of Bardstown; and several aunts and uncles.

The funeral is 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with Deacon Arnold Downs officiating. Burial is in the St. Thomas Cemetery.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 5, 2015, at the funeral home.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to help cover the funeral expenses.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
