Obituary: Mary Martina Tingle, 66, Bardstown
Mary Martina Tingle, 66, of Bardstown, died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, at her home. She was born Sept. 9, 1948, in Louisville. 
She was a former Jefferson County Police officer, a member of Fraternal Order of Police and a member of the Catholic faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Chuck” Tingle; and her parents, Robert and Mary Olliges.
She is survived by two daughters, Tina Berry of Bardstown and Beth Brown of Louisville; two sons, Charles Tingle Jr. of Missouri, and Philip Tingle of Elizabethtown; one brother, Bobby Joe Olliges Sr. of Bloomfield; and eight grandchildren.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015, at Barlow Funeral Home in Bardstown with burial in the St. Michael Cemetery in Louisville. The Rev. David Cockson will officiate.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015, and 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may go toward the service of Mary Martina Tingle.
