Obituary: Bill Simpson, 66, Bardstown,
Bill Simpson, 66, of Bardstown, died Sunday, Jan. 4, 2015, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. He was born Oct. 11, 1948, at Fort Knox and retired from Ford Motor Co. Louisville Assembly Plant.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Eva Simpson; and one brother, William Abbott.
He is survived by his wife, Kay Simpson of Bardstown; two dogs, Samie and Katie; one daughter, Cathy Greather of Louisville; one son, William Simpson Jr. of Louisville; two stepdaughters, Bebe Yeary of West Liberty and Heather Storken of Chicago; one stepson, Lloyd Priddy of Louisville; four siblings, Carol Shannon, Frank Simpson Jr., Howard Simpson, and Pat Morris, all of Louisville; and six grandchildren, Billy David Simpson, Jordan Logsdon, Blue Yeary, Hannah Yeary, Cody Priddy and Dustin Thurman;
The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015, at the Barlow Funeral Home with cremation to follow.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015 and 9-11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
