Obituary: Golden Junior Cundiff, 79, Elizabethtown,

Golden Junior Cundiff, 79, of Elizabethtown, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015, at Colonial Nursing and Rehabilitation in Bardstown. He was a former employee of Crucible Steel, an electrician and a woodsman. He also attended Youngers Creek Baptist funeral_doveChurch and was a U.S. Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Elmina Milby Cundiff; and one brother, Roscoe Cundiff.

Survivors include his children, Lonnie Cundiff, Betty Noe, Bonnie Thompson, Michael Cundiff, Ebony Wheatley and Tonja Prather; their mother, Lavon Cundiff; 16 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 9, 2015 at the Dixon-Atwood & Trowbridge Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Bro. Mark Judd officiating. Burial is in Youngers Creek Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015, and 9-11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, at the funeral home.

There will be a bereavement meal following the burial at Youngers Creek Baptist Church. Food for the meal may be dropped off at the church after 9:00 a.m. Friday.
