Obituary: Richard A. Sanders Sr., 63, Lebanon

Richard A. Sanders Sr., 63, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015, at his home. He was born Nov. 11, 1952, in Lebanon. He was a former employee of T & H Feed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry and Sallie Cowherd Sanders Sr.; two sisters, Julia Parker and Mildred Sanders; and one brother, John Sanders.

Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Miller Sanders of Lebanon; one son, Richard A. (Sheila) Sanders, Jr. of Bardstown; a special friend, Natasha Fisher of Lebanon; three brothers, James Oliver Sanders, Charles Lee Sanders and William David Sanders, all of Lebanon; two grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015, at the Lebanon First Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. Tommy Calhoun with burial in Ryder Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, at the Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon.

The Bosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
