Obituary: Bonnie Ruth Kippes, 86, Lebanon Junction
Bonnie Ruth Kippes, 86, of Lebanon Junction, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015, at her home surrounded by her beloved family. She was the former Bonnie Mudd and a native of Jefferson County. She was a school bus driver for the Bullitt County 
school system for more than 23 years. She was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Carr; one son Robert L. Kippes; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Survivors include five daughters, Theresa A. Allen of Louisville, Jane Carr Thomas (Stephen) of Brooks, Mary Pat Gravil of Bonnieville, and Glenda L. Pate and Jenny L. Younger (Greg), both of Lebanon Junction; one son, Burt Kippes (Glenda) of Louisville; one sister, Pat Webb of Indiana; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
The Funeral Mass was 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015, at St. Benedict Catholic Church with burial in Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville.
Visitation was 2-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12, 2015, at the Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction.
Expressions of Sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hosparus of Louisville or St. Vincent DePaul Society, Louisville.
The Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction was in charge of the arrangements.
