Nelson Circuit Court Indictments–Jan. 21, 2015

Editor’s Note: The indictment of a person by a grand jury or otherwise is an accusation only and that person is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

indictmentThursday, Jan. 22, 2015 – The following people were indicted by a Nelson County grand jury on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015. They are scheduled for arraignment Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015, unless otherwise indicated.

15-CR-014 (AMENDED). Sarah A. Baise, 31, Campbellsville, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs/etc.; careless driving.

According to the amended indictment, on Nov. 8, 2014, Baise allegedly operated her motor vehicle in a careless manner while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. Bail was set as the same as the original indictment, plus conditions.

14-CR-214 (AMENDED). Jordan K. Summers, 25, Bardstown, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs/etc.

According to the amended indictment, on Aug. 2, 2014, Summers allegedly operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. Bail was set as the same as the original indictment, plus conditions.

15-CR-20. Justin Michael Adams, 27, Bardstown, burglary, third-degree; persistent felony offender, first-degree.

According to the indictment, on Nov. 29, 2014, Adams allegedly entered the residence of another person with the intent to commit a crime. The indictment cites Adams’ previous felony convictions as basis for the persistent felony offender charge. Bail was set at $9,500 cash only, plus conditions.

15-CR-021. Quacy L. Sheckles, 20, Bardstown, burglary, first-degree; theft by unlawful taking/disposition-firearm (3 counts); theft by unlawful taking or disposition-all others.

According to the indictment, on Nov. 21, 2014, Sheckles allegedly entered or remained in the residence of another person with the intent to commit a crime, and while leaving that residence was armed with a deadly weapon, including a Wingmaster 12 gauge shotgun, a Daisy BB gun, and a Stevens 20 gauge shotgun, each having a value of $300 or less, and a 32-inch Vizio TV having a value of less than $500. Bail was set at $50,000 cash only, plus conditions.

15-CR-22. Joseph C. Auberry, 20, Bardstown, possession of a forged instrument, second-degree (2 counts); theft of the identity of another without consent; receiving stolen property.

According to the indictment, on Jan. 6, 2015, and Jan. 7, 2015, Auberry allegedly possessed forged checks in the amounts of $115 and $65 respectively and passed to Town & Country Bank and Trust with the intent to defraud another; cashed checks in another person’s name with the intent to make financial or credit transactions using that person’s identity, and received, retained or disposed of a gold bracelet belonging to another person having a value of less than $500. Bail was set at $20,000 cash only, plus conditions.

15-CR-023. Robert D. Dennis, 28, New Haven, flagrant non-support; persistent felony offender, second-degree.

According to the indictment, from Oct. 21, 2011 through April 30, 2014, Dennis allegedly failed to provide support he was ordered to pay, resulting in an arrearage of $13,272.68. The indictment further cites Dennis’ prior felony conviction as basis for the persistent felony offender charge. Bail was set at $9,500 cash only, plus conditions.

15-CR-024. Johnna C. Covington, 41, Phoenix, Ariz, flagrant non-support.

According to the indictment, from Sept. 1, 20111 through Dec. 31, 2014, Covington allegedly failed to provide support she was ordered to pay, resulting in an arrearage of $11,940. Bail was set at $5,000 cash only, plus conditions.

15-CR-25. Anna Moynihan, 28, Bloomfield, theft by unlawful taking/disposition-all others, $500 or more but under $10,000 (4 counts) and complicity to the same; theft by unlawful taking/disposition-all others, $10,000 or more and complicity to the same.

According to the indictment, sometime between Jan. 1 and Dec. 12, 2014, Anna Moynihan — acting alone or in concert with David P. Moynihan — allegedly took a wedding set, a wedding ring, stamp collection, a collection of foreign coins, each having a value of $500 or more but less than $10,000, and a collection of U.S. coins having a value of $10,000 or more but less than $1 million. Bail was set at $9,500 cash only, plus conditions.

15-CR-026. David Lea Cox, 27, Bardstown, burglary, second-degree; receiving stolen property.

According to the indictment, on Nov. 21, 2014, Cox allegedly entered or remained in another person’s residence with the intent to commit a crime, and received, retained or disposed of a 42-inch Vizeo E series TV belonging to another person knowing it was stolen and having a value of less than $500. Bail was set at $5,000 cash only, plus conditions.

15-CR-027. David P. Moynihan, 29, Bloomfield, theft by unlawful taking/disposition-all others, $500 or more but under $10,000 (4 counts) and complicity to the same; theft by unlawful taking/disposition-all others, $10,000 or more and complicity to the same.

According to the indictment, sometime between Jan. 1 and Dec. 12, 2014, David P. Moynihan — acting alone or in concert with Anna Moynihan — allegedly took a wedding set, a wedding ring, stamp collection, a collection of foreign coins, each having a value of $500 or more but less than $10,000, and a collection of U.S. coins having a value of $10,000 or more but less than $1 million. Bail was set at $9,500 cash only, plus conditions.
