Obituary: Patricia Louise ‘GoGa’ Clark Shain, 45, New Haven

Patricia Louise “GoGa” Clark Shain, 45, of New Haven, died Monday, Jan. 26, 2015, at Norton Healthcare Hosparus Inpatient Unit in Louisville. She was a homemaker, and a member of Immaculate funeral_angelConception Catholic Church in Culvertown. She was born Dec. 6, 1969, in Bardstown, the daughter of the late William Oscar and Mary Louise Donahue Clark.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brothers, James Oscar “Jump Bean” Clark.

She is survived by five daughters, Jennifer L. Shain of Bardstown, Samantha J. Shain of New Haven, Kayla (Floyd) Pritchard of Bardstown, Paula Ann Shain of Lebanon and Mary Abagail “Abbey” Hillard of New Haven; two sons, Paul “P.J.” Shain Jr. of Cox’s Creek and Justin Lee Shain of Bardstown; four sisters, Phyllis (Carlos) Grimes and Jeanie (Martin) Flahiff, both of Bardstown, and Pamela Shain and Angie (Joe Paul) Smith, both of New Haven; two brothers, Carl “Floppy” (Betsey) Clark and Phillip “HoBo” Clark, both of New Haven; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Culvertown with the Rev. Troy Overton officiating. Burial is in the Holy Cross Catholic Church Cemetery in Holy Cross.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015, and 8:30-9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015, at the funeral home with prayers at 6 p.m. in the Chapel of the William R. Rust Funeral Home, 167 N. Main St. in New Haven with Deacon Arnold Downs officiating.

The William R. Rust Funeral Home in New Haven is in charge of arrangements.
