Obituary: Betty Sue Pile, 71, Bardstown

BETTY SUE PILE

Betty Sue Pile, 71, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015, at her home. She was born Oct. 9, 1943, in Chaplin. She was a homemaker and a member of Woodlawn United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Davis Pile; one son, Donald Wayne Pile; her parents, Virgil and Virgie Trent; and two brothers, Kenneth Trent, and Benny Trent.

She is survived by one daughter, Pam (Michael) Johnson of Bardstown; one son, Glenn (Melissa) Pile of Bloomfield; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 30, 2015, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in the Poplar Flat Cemetery with Pastor Jerry Pile officiating.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015, and 9-11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 30, 2015, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may go to Woodlawn United Methodist Church.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
