Two injured Saturday afternoon in Lawrenceburg Road injury accident

Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015 9 p.m. — Two people were injured Saturday afternoon in a single-vehicle accident four miles east of Bloomfield on Lawrenceburg Road.

At 4:53 p.m. Saturday, Nelson County EMS and police responded to the injury accident reported in the 3700 block of Lawrenceburg Road involving a Chevrolet Cruze that ran off roadway. EMS transported a man with back and chest pain and a woman with back pain to University Hospital in Louisville with non life-threatening injuries.

The Nelson County Sheriff’s Office investigated the accident, assisted by the Bloomfield Police.
