Former Marion County judge-executive joins Tri-County United Way

Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015 — The Tri-County United Way has announced that John G. Mattingly, the former judge-executive of Marion County, has joined Tri-County United Way as part-time associate director.
Mattingly will join Executive Director Kenny Fogle in efforts to raise awareness of the United Way mission, and to raise funding United Way distributes to more than 25 health and human service charitable organizations that service Central Kentucky.
Mattingly has worked for many years with local organizations through county government and the school systems to find ways to help residents living in Marion County in times of need.
The Tri-County United Way board met on Monday, Feb. 9 in Marion County to discuss 2015 allocations and the campaign plans for the fall. A three-county 5k walk/run series is also planned for later this year.
