Obituary: Gail L. Torrey, 73, Bardstown
Gail L. Torrey, 73, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2015, at her home. She was born Dec. 9, 1941, in New Jersey to Clois C. and Stella Johnson Reese. She was a former employee of Pinnacle 
Management Services in Elizabethtown, and formerly attended Freedom Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clois C. Reese; and two brothers, Bobby Reese and Steve Reese.
She is survived by three daughters, Terri Sticker of Turtletown, Tenn., Yvonne Tomesek (Dave) of Loretto, and Connie Kitts of Austin, Texas; one son, David Chafins of Loretto,
her mother, Stella Pickelseimer of Bardstown; three sisters, Peggy Fair (Frank) of Epworth, Ga.., Glenda Molohan (Glen) of Ohio, and Michelle Jervis of Stone Brook, Ohio; one brother, Tony Reese of Homerville, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, Michael Hye, Heather Hye, Tracy Geiger, Kyle Schilkey, Staff Sgt. Charles McClain, Anthony Kitts, Ashley Rader, Heather Tacey, Justin Milliman, and Stephanie Tomesek, 17 great-grandchildren, Devin Bennett, Kelsey Hye, Michelle Dowlin, Seth Allen, Hali Kruse, Skyler Tomesek, Caden McClain, Christian Schilkey, Cheyenne Schilkey, James Tomesek, Thayden Geiger, Braedyn Rader, Michael Tacey, Kyler Rader, Paige Schilkey, Bryce Tacey and Paisley McClain; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral is 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home in Bardstown with Bro. Glen Stiles officiating. Cremation will follow the services.
Visitation is 2-3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21.
The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
