Obituary: Patricia Ann Cheser, 80, Bloomfield

PATRICIA ANN CHESER

Patricia Ann Cheser, 80, of Bloomfield, died Monday, Feb. 23, 2015, at her home. She was born Jan. 1, 1935, in Spencer County to the late Woodrow and Naomi Hickman Hahn. She was a former food service employee for Bardstown Independent Schools. She was a Kentucky Colonel and a member of Wakefield Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Arnold Hahn.

She is survived by her husband, Eugene Cheser; one daughter, Koren Gordon (Roy) of Cox’s Creek; three sons, Gerald Cheser (Angie) of Shepherdsville, Leonard Cheser (Debbie) and Darryl Cheser (Margaret), both of Bardstown; one brother, William Denton “Doc” Hahn of Louisville; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many dear friends.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Bro. Tom Sparrow officiating. Burial is in the Maple Grove Cemetery.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015, at the funeral home.

The Houghlin Funeral Home of Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
