Obituary: James Ray ‘Petie’ Allen Jr, 55, Lebanon

James Ray “Petie” Allen, Jr, 55, of Lebanon, died Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015, at University of Louisville Hospital. He was born July 13, 1959, in Lebanon.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Ray Allen, Sr.

Survivors include his mother, Edna Mae Wayne Allen of Lebanon; one daughter, Megan Ann Allen of Lebanon; one son, Travis Justin (Melody) Allen of Gravel Switch; two sisters, Deborah (Ronnie) Spalding and Sharon (Jerry) Wheatley, both of Lebanon; four grandchildren, Jada Allen, Aalayah Bradshaw, Kamren Wright and Kayden Wright; also surviving are several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, March 2, 2015, at the Bosley Funeral Home, officiated by Dr. David Whitlock. burial is in the Ryder Cemetery.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 2015, at the funeral home.
