Obituary: Clifford Scott Travis, 55, Lebanon Junction
Clifford Scott Travis, 55, of Lebanon Junction, died Thursday, March 5, 2015, at Jewish Medical Center South. He was an employee of the Bullitt County Detention Center where he was a lieutenant. He was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church and also a member of the McNeil Masonic Lodge in Lebanon Junction where he was a past master.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Ray Travis; one uncle, Raymond Thurman; and his love, Blondie.
Survivors include his mother, Thelma Thurman Travis; four sisters, Cassandra Jones, Amy Flowers, Valeria Fisher and Cindy Travis; three brothers, Andrew Travis, Patrick Travis and Stuart Travis; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and nephews; and his dog, Pumpkin.
The service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at the Mount Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Monday, March 9, 2015, with a Masonic Service at 7 p.m. at Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction.
