Obituary: Mary Catherine ‘Kitty’ Hall Richardson, 90, New Haven
Mary Catherine “Kitty” Hall Richardson, 90, of New Haven, died Friday, March 6, 2015, at Life Care Center of Bardstown. She was a retiree from the Green Thumb program, the New Haven Senior Citizens, and St. Catherine of Alexandria school custodian which she all loved and enjoyed. She was a member of St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church in New Haven. She was born July 13, 1924 in New Haven, the daughter of the late Joseph Cleveland and Vianna Werner Hall.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Anna Mae Hall Masterson and Lucille Hall; and two brothers, Joseph A. Hall and Ed Hall.
She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl (Wayne) Richardson Ritchie of Bardstown and Patricia “Pat” (Dwight) Greenwell of New Hope; one son, Jackie H. (Vanessa) Richardson of New Hope; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at St. Catharine of Alexandria Catholic Church in New Haven with the Rev. Troy Overton officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2015, and 8:30-11 a.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2015, with a prayer service 6 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of the William R. Rust Funeral Home, 167 N. Main St. in New Haven.
The William R. Rust Funeral Home in New Haven is in charge of arrangements.
