Obituary: Robert Quist, 70, Bardstown

ROBERT QUIST

Robert Quist, 70, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at his home. He was born Dec. 3, 1944, in Rock Island, Ill. He was a machinist for C & A. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police No. 614, Louisville Metro Bass U.S.A. and Renegade Marine in Leitchfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Robert and Anita Seivers Quist; and one grandson, Zackary Abbott.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Quist of Bardstown; two daughters, Tammy (Dr. Terry) Marmon of Bardstown and Tina (Tracy) Ziegler of Seminole, Fla.; one son, Troy Quist of Bardstown; two grandchildren, Alyssa Marmon and Marshall Popp; and one great-grandchild, Shae Popp.

There will be no services local. Cremation was chosen.

The Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
