Overheated power supply prompts fire alarm at Nelson Justice Center

Friday, March 13, 2015, 12:15 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department responded Thursday afternoon to an active alarm at the Nelson County Justice Center. Firefighters responded to the alarm at 4:32 p.m. Crews investigated and found the alarm was caused by an overheated power supply that created a strong plastic smell. The power supply was removed by maintenance. Firefighters were on scene for only a short time.
