Obituary: Evelyn Mae Richardson, 77, Lebanon Junction

Evelyn Mae Richardson, 77, of Lebanon Junction, died Thursday, March 13, 2015, at her home. She worked as a waitress at Holiday Inn and as a toll booth collector for the state for 37 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Matthew Eugene LaFollette and Ella Mae Underwood LaFollette.

Survivors include her children, Donna Lynn Slaven, Paula Kay Cothern, William Eugene Slaven, Robert Wayne Slaven, Oscar Stanley Slaven and Emery Price Martin; five sisters, Whyoma Fuqua, Christine Offutt, Edna LaFollette, Doris Foote and Shirley Johnson; two brothers, James Matthew LaFollette and Edgar Eugene Ashbaugh; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The funeral is 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction with Pastor Mike Willingham officiating. Burial is in the Lebanon Junction City Cemetery.

Visitation is 1-8 p.m. Monday, March 16, 2015, and after 9 a.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at the funeral home.

The Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction is in charge of arrangements.
