Obituary: Anna Marilyn Elliott Armes, 74, Lebanon
Anna Marilyn Elliott Armes, 74, of Lebanon, died Saturday, March 14, 2015, at her home. She was born April 5, 1940, in Riley. She was a member of the Lebanon United Methodist Church, a member of the Powell Chapter # 266 Order of the Eastern Star, and a retired employee of Jane and Linda Sportswear.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Carol L. Drye, James L. Farris and James Armes; her parents, John Henry and Sarah Annie Hall Elliott; six sisters, Hattie Frances Simpson, Lottie Mar Elliott, Carrie Lou Rinehart, Rosa Corrine Akin, Ethel Snapp and Jewell Carpenter; and five brothers, Franklin D. Elliott, William Lee Elliott, Henry Elliott, Ervin Elliott, and John Henry Elliott.
Survivors include two sisters, Mattie Pearl Bedford of Lawrenceburg and Dorothy Faye Mattingly of Lebanon; one brother, Charles Marvin “Buddy” Elliott of Danville; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral is 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at the Lebanon United Methodist Church officiated by Dr. Chris Howlett. Burial is in the Old Liberty Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday, March 16, at the Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon.
The Powell Chapter #266 Order of the Eastern Star will conduct Eastern Star Services at 7:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.
The Bosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
