Attic slip, fall prompts rescue effort by Bardstown firefighters

Wednesday, April 27, 2011, 10:47 a.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was called to Oakwood Drive off Woodlawn Road for an individual who slipped and fell in the attic of a home there. Firefighters are being advised to remove their turnout gear because of the tight spaces they’ll need to enter. Firefighters are still on scene at this hour. The individual was transported to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment.
