EMS transports woman to Flaget after reported intentional overdose

Saturday, March 21, 2015, 9 p.m. — A Cox’s Creek woman was transported to Flaget Memorial Hospital Saturday evening after she allegedly took an intentional overdose of painkillers and prescription medicine. At 5:46 p.m., the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to an address on Solitude Road to check on report of an intentional overdose by a woman who was believed to have left the home and walked into the woods. Police located the 56-year-old woman and she was transported to Flaget for evaluation and treatment.
