Obituary: Aileen Caldwell Young, 94, Lebanon
Aileen Caldwell Young, 94, of Lebanon, died Monday, March 23, 2015, at the Village of Lebanon. She was born Jan. 22, 1921, in Marion County. She was a retired teacher and member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph H. “Joe” Young; her parents, William Ivo Sr. and Martha Ethel Abell Caldwell; four sisters, Cecilia Caldwell, O’Dele Caldwell, Mary Caldwell and Margaret Caldwell; seven brothers, Austin E. Caldwell, Ivo Caldwell, Jr, L.V. Caldwell, Daniel Caldwell, Robert Caldwell, George Caldwell and Paul “Snit” Caldwell.
Survivors include one daughter, Martha Kubik of Minneapolis, Minn.; two sons, Daniel T. (Rose) Young and Harry (Lucy) Young, both of Lebanon; one sister, Bernadine (J.B.) Thomas of Lebanon; two brothers, Fabian Caldwell of Louisville and Nicholas Caldwell of Springfield; three grandchildren, Amy Young of Lebanon, Kristie (Matt) Borgman of San Antonio, Texas and Greg Young of Lebanon; one stepgrandchild, Robin (Allen) Simms of Holy Cross; three great-grandchildren; and one stepgreat-grandchild.
The Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Thursday, March 26, 2015, at St. Augustine Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon with a prayer service at 7 p.m. with Deacon Joseph R. Dant.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations Hosparus of Central Kentucky or St. Augustine School.
The Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon is in charge of arrangements.
