Injury crash temporarily closes southbound KY 245 at Wilson Parkway

Tuesday, March 24, 2015, 10:55 a.m. — Both southbound lanes of KY 245 are closed at Templin Avenue while a Kentucky State Police accident reconstructionist works the scene of a injury crash that happened this morning near the intersection of KY245 and Wilson Parkway.

At 8:14 a.m. Tuesday, a commercial truck and a pickup truck were involved in a rear-end collision. One person was injured in the crash and was transported to Flaget Memorial Hospital and transferred to a waiting medical helicopter for the flight to University Hospital in Louisville.

There were no fatalities reported in the crash as had been earlier reported.
