Bardstown police investigating pair of restaurant burglaries

Tuesday, March 24, 2015, 11 a.m. — Bardstown Police responded to two local restaurant burglaries reported Tuesday morning.

Just after 9 a.m., police were dispatched to Cinco de Mayo Mexican Bar and Grill, 145 Parkway Drive, for a break in. About an hour later, police were called to El Camino Real Mexican Restaurant, 885 Pennsylvania Ave. for a burglary at that location.

At one of the restaurants, a cash register was reportedly taken from the building. The investigation is ongoing.
