CATHERINE ANN MOORE

Catherine Ann Moore, 58, of Bardstown, died Thursday, March 26, 2015, at her home. She was born April 19, 1956, in Louisville. She earned her Master’s degree in Business Administration and a doctorate in Human Resources Management. She was a professor in the School of Business and Economics at Campbellsville University. She was a former professor at Sullivan University and a former employee of KFC and Sam Swope. She was also a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James, Jr., and Mary Catherine Mattingly.

She is survived by one daughter, Kaitlin (Brian) Cundiff; three sons, Michael Mattingly, Travis Mattingly and Noah Jones-Mattingly, all of Bardstown; two daughters-in-law, Julie Mattingly and Connie Mattingly, both of Bardstown; four half-brothers; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild, Aubrey Boblett.

The Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Bill Hammer is the celebrant.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2015, and 8:30-10 a.m. Tuesday at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home.

The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions in her name to Bethlehem High School.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
