RUDOLPH BROTHERS

Rudolph Brothers, 84, of Bardstown, died Saturday, March 28, 2015, at his home. He was born Feb. 3, 1931, in Willisburg to the late Herbert and Leona Crume Brothers. He was a lifelong dairy farmer, a member of Nelson County Farm Bureau and New Beginning Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Geneva Johnson; one brother, Namon Lee Brothers; and one grandson, Jeremy Michael Mudd.

He is survived by his wife, Sue McMurray Brothers; one daughter, Tammy (Gerard) Mudd of Springfield; two sons, Michael Bruce (Gail) Brothers and Gregory Scott (Rebecca) Brothers, both of Bardstown; one brother, Herbert Lewis (Margaret) Brothers of Bardstown; one sister-in-law, Alice Brothers Boone of Bardstown; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, March 30, 2015, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with burial in the First Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Services will be conducted by Bro. Jeff Griggs and Bro. Isaac Ferguson.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Sunday, March 29, 2015 and 8:30-11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

The family requests memorial contributions in his memory go to the New Beginning Baptist Church.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
