Obituary: Wendell Paul Mayo, 52, Lebanon

Wendell Paul Mayo, 52, of Lebanon, died Friday, March 27, 2015, at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville. He was born Nov. 16, 1962 in Lancaster. He was a 22 year veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Willie Patricia and Larry Mann of Bardstown; his father, Gobel Lee Mayo of Louisville; his partner, Melissa Roberts of Louisville; two sisters, Gayle Williams of Campbellsville and Carla Edelen of Loretto; and one brother, Kenneth Tucker of Bradfordsville.

The funeral is 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at the Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon with burial in the Lebanon National Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at funeral home.

The Bosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
