Obituary: Thomas Anthony Lyvers, 71, New Haven

Thomas Anthony Lyvers, 71, of New Haven, died Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. He was born Sept. 15, 1943, in Nelson County. He was a road construction worker having worked for Rose Construction, Nalley & Thompson, Hite Construction and Mago Construction.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Benedict Lyvers; and one daughter, Nadean Greenwell.

He is survived by two daughters, Becky Keeling of New Haven, and Susan Lyvers of Louisville; his mother, Mary Ruth Thurman Taylor of Bardstown; two sisters, Shirley Heath of Bloomfield and Gail Lyvers of Shepherdsville; three brothers, Larry (Theresa) Lyvers of Bardstown, Danny (Monterey) Lyvers of Harrodsburg, and Phillip (Mary Ann) Lyvers of Boston; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Cremation was chosen by the family. A memorial visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home in Bardstown.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
