NC Sheriff’s Office investigating break-in, theft at Botland liquor store

Monday, April 20, 2015, 12:30 a.m. — The Nelson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a break-in and 
burglary early Saturday morning of the Bardstown Wine and Spirits store at 5201 Springfield Road in the Botland community.
At 3:50 a.m., deputies were dispatched for an active burglar alarm at the store. Officers arrived to find the glass in the front door of the business had been broken out and a robber or robbers had entered the building.
Police believe a white man entered the story and stole an undetermined number of items from the business. He left the building and fled to the rear prior to officer’s arrival.
