Obituary: Ellen Louise Mitchell Curle, 57, formerly of New Haven
Ellen Louise Mitchell Curle, 57, of Louisville, formerly of New Haven, died Saturday, April 18, 2015, at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville. She was born April 3, 1958, in New Haven.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joel Curle; her parents, Jimmy and Lila Handley Mitchell; two sisters, Aggie Greathouse and Linda Montgomery; one brother, Jimmy Mitchell; and three infant grandchildren, Breona Jackson, Isaiah Mitchell and Danni Holland.
She is survived by two daughters, Melissa Mitchell and Lila Mitchell, both of Louisville; one son, David Mitchell of Louisville; one brother, Lenny Mitchell of Louisville; five grandchildren; a special friend, John Cobb of Hodgenville; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The memorial service is noon Saturday, April 25, 2015, at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven with the Rev. Kenny Carter officiating.
Visitation is 10 a.m.-noon Saturday at the funeral home.
In keeping with Ellen’s wishes Cremation was chosen.
The Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven is in charge of arrangements.
