Firefighters respond for active residential alarm on Highland Drive

Monday, April 27, 2015, 10:30 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department responded Monday night at 10:15 p.m. to an active residential fire alarm on Highland Drive in Bardstown. Firefighters arrived to investigate the cause of the alarm and determined the problem was due to bad batteries in a detector. Firefighters were on the scene for about 25 minutes.
