Obituary: Frieda Ann Hall, 67, New Haven

FRIEDA ANN HALL

Frieda Ann Hall, 67, of New Haven, died Saturday, May 16, 2015, in Jewish Hospital in Louisville. She was born March 16, 1948, in Samuels to the late James L. and Julia Mae Vittitoe Mattingly. She was a former employee of General Electric. She was a self-employed hog farmer, a homemaker, and was a member of the Catholic faith.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Leo Hall;
two sisters, Theresa Pratt and Rose Jeffries; and one brother, Charles Caddell.

She is survived by three sisters, Candice Cordero of Colorado Springs, Colo., Julia “Cathy” Price (Donnie) and Liz Bartley, both of Bardstown; one brother, Roy Caddell of Bardstown; four stepdaughters, Shirley Jean Fredrick, Rachael Joan Newton, Jane Lynn Eigelbach, and Joyce Ann Seward, all of Bardstown; two stepsons, John Ross Hall of Bardstown and Joseph Leo Hall Jr. of Clarksville, Tenn.; a special grandchild, Emily Hall Newton; 14 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home in Bardstown with burial in the Bardstown Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday, May 18, 2015, at the funeral home.

The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the American Diabetes Association.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
