Obituary: Harold Wayne Sneed, 64, Bardstown
HAROLD WAYNE SNEED
Harold Wayne Sneed, 64, of Bardstown, died Saturday, May 16, 2015M at VA Hospital in Louisville. He was born Aug. 17, 1950, in Memphis, Tenn. He was the former owner of Iron Crafters Doors in Louisville, He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of Marine Corps League, and of the John Hunt Morgan Camp – Sons of Confederate Veterans.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Irby O. and Elizabeth J. Sneed; and one brother, Charles I. Sneed.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Ala Sneed of Bardstown; one daughter, Shelley Sneed (Larry) Hunt of Memphis, Tenn.; one son, Christopher Wayne Sneed of Carson City, Nev.; one sister, Marie Sneed Goldman of Memphis, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Thomas Sipes, Coty Mannering, Austin Sneed, Carson Hunt, and Haiden Sneed; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in the Bardstown Cemetery with Vernon Jewell officiating.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Monday, May 18, 2015, and 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may go to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Be The Match.
Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
