SHARON MITCHELL HAHN

Sharon Mitchell Hahn, 68, of Chaplin, died Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at her home. She was born Sept. 23, 1946, in Bloomfield to the late James Albert and Juanita Bayne Mitchell. She was a former employee of Texas Instruments. She was a homemaker, and a member of Fairmount Church of Christ.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Cody McDill.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Ronnie Hahn; three daughters, Rhonda (Tim) Fenwick of Cox’s Creek, Cheryl (Brian) Stevens of Taylorsville and Melanie (Jason) Caple of Bardstown; one son, Ron (Beth) Hahn of Berea; three sisters, Karen Burgin of Missouri, Barbara (Doug) Campbell of Lexington and Pam (Keith) Vickery of Tampa, Fla.; and nine grandchildren.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, May 23, 2015, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Bro. Tracy Waldridge officiating. Burial is in the Highview Cemetery in Chaplin.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Friday, May 22, 2015 at the funeral home.

The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Fairmount Church of Christ.

The Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
