EMS called after city police conduct Susannah Ave. welfare check

emslogoSunday, May 24, 2015 — Nelson County EMS was called Sunday afternoon at about 4:45 p.m. to a residence on Susannah Avenue in Bardstown for a report of a 35-year-old woman with suicidal tendencies. Bardstown Police officers went to the residence after they received a request to conduct a welfare check on the woman at that address. Officers found the woman in the residence with injuries to both wrists. EMS transported the woman to Flaget Memorial Hospital for evaluation and treatment.
