Police investigate attempted break-in at Bard Ave. apartment building

Thursday, May 28, 2015, 1:20 a.m. — Bardstown Police were asked to respond to an apparent burglary in progress at an apartment in the 100 block of Bard Avenue Thursday morning. City police responded just after 1 a.m. after a resident said two black males wearing black bandanas were beating on his door trying to break into his apartment. Local law enforcement officers were asked to be on the lookout for possible suspects described as two younger black males in a dark blue passenger car with chrome rims.
