Missing Cox’s Creek man shows up Sunday morning at relative’s home

Sunday, May 31, 2015, 12:30 p.m. — The Cox’s Creek man who was reported missing from his home Saturday night turned up Sunday morning at a relative’s home.
Nelson County Deputy Sheriff Steve Campbell was flagged down about 8:25 Saturday night and told of a elderly man who was missing from his home. Joseph R. “Bobby” Livers, 76, of Froman Greenwell Lane, was missing and family and neighbors were out looking for him. Additional police units responded to the area. The Bardstown Fire Department, Nelson County EMS and a search team were called in to help with the search. First-responders were on the scene until the search was suspended at about 4:15 a.m.
At about 7:30 Sunday morning, Livers showed up at the home of a relative on Meadow Drive in Cox’s Creek off Louisville Road. Nelson County EMS and police responded to the home. Livers was reportedly in good physical condition and refused treatment from EMS. He was left in the care of family members.
