Obituary: Joseph Augustine ‘Gus’ Goldring, 35, Bardstown
Joseph Augustine “Gus” Goldring, 35, of Bardstown, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2015, at Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown. He was born Nov. 13, 1979, in Bardstown to the late Joseph Bivens and Marilyn Goldring. He was the owner of Goldring’s Lawn Care and a member of Bardstown First Baptist Church.
He is survived by four daughters, Jasmine Newby, Asia Cooper, Seaaira Cooper, and Sahmahah Cooper, all of Bardstown; two sons, Quintin Newby and Joseph Cooper, both of Bardstown; his fiance, Angel Cooper of Bardstown; three sisters, Bertha Goldring of Bardstown, Mary Harrison of Bloomfield and Tisha Goldring of Ohio; three brothers, Curtis Gerald Goldring and Michael Tinker, both of Bardstown and David Litsey of Lebanon; his grandmother, Lucille Weaver of Mount Washington; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
The funeral was noon Monday, June 15, 2015, at the Bardstown First Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael Smith officiating with burial in the Bardstown Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday at the church from 10:00am until time of services.
The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
