Obituary: Frank Thomas Douglas, 72, Bardstown

FRANK THOMAS DOUGLAS

Frank Thomas Douglas, 72, of Bardstown, died Thursday, June 11, 2015, at his residence. He was born Aug. 3, 1942, in Bardstown to the late Joseph Dennis and Estella Josephine Hayes Douglas. He was a retired factory worker, a member of the First Baptist Church, and Euclid Lodge #13 F&AM where he was Senior Warden. He was a member of the Abraham Lincoln Post No. 107 where he was a former commander and a veteran of the United States Marine Corp.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Greene Douglas; two daughters, Denita Lynn Douglas and Clarissa LaVonne Douglas, both of Bardstown; one son, Carl Lee Douglas of Bardstown; one brother, Joseph “tut” (Debbi) Dennis Douglas Jr. of Bardstown; five granddaughters; and one great-granddaughter.

The funeral is noon Friday, June 19, 2015, at the First Baptist Church of Bardstown with the Rev. Michael Smith officiating. Burial is in the Lebanon National Cemetery.

Visitation is 10 a.m.-noon Friday, June 19, 2015, at the First Baptist Church with Masonic and American Legion services.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
