Two injured Saturday in two-vehicle Chaplin-Taylorsville Rd. crash

Tuesday, June 16, 2015, 3:15 a.m. — Two people were injured Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on Chaplin-Taylorsville Road. According to the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office, at about 2:40 p.m. Saturday a 1998 Chevrole Lumina operated by Bonnie V. Sudduth, 47, of Shepherdsville struck a 2008 Buick Enclave operated by Daniel L. Thomas, 20, of Bardstown after Thomas pulled his vehicle into the path of Sudduth’s vehicle at the intersection of KY 1066.
Carole Gaskill, 33, of Bardstown and a 13-year-old girl — both passengers in Thomas’ vehicle — were transported from the scene to Flaget Memorial Hospital with possible facial and head injuries.
Deputy Joedy Gilliland II investigated the accident.
