Obituary: Anna Mae Heil Moss, 89, Bardstown
Anna Mae Heil Moss, 89, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, June 16, 2015, in Decherd, Tenn. She was born Nov. 13, 1925, in Louisville. She was retired from General Electric Building 5. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Moss, “the Rooftop Santa”; her parents, Charles and Theresa Heil; one sister; six brothers; and one grandson, Matthew Ray.
She is survived by three children, Wayne (Janie) Ray of Bardstown, Sonja (Ramon) Ray of Decherd, Tenn. and Paul (Nina Culver) Moss Jr., of Bardstown; two sisters, Helen Cleary of Bagdad and Margaret Minor of Jeffersonville, Ind.; 11 grandchildren, Tony Ray, Terry Ray, Rob Ray, Jonathan Ray, Nathan Ray, Brandon Moss, Anna Gilliam, Samantha Brown, Autumn Buckner, Jacob Gilliam, and Noah Gilliam; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Saturday, June 20, 2015, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with the Rev. Matthew Hardesty officiating. There will be a private burial in St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Friday, June 19, 2015 and Saturday 8-9:15 a.m. at Barlow Funeral Home. A prayer service is 7 p.m. Friday evening.
Memorial contributions may go to Disabled American Veterans.
