Three injured in motorcycle crash on KY 55 north of Bloomfield

Saturday, June 27, 2015, 2:40 p.m. — Three people were injured Saturday afternoon in a motorcycle accident on Taylorsville Road outside Bloomfield. Nelson County EMS and the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched at 1:20 p.m. to an injury accident involving at least two motorcycles about a mile north of Bloomfield. Two EMS ambulances transported a 47-year-old woman with a head injury, a 59-year-old man complaining of right shoulder pain, and a 52-year-old woman with a pelvis injury to Flaget Memorial Hospital for evaluation and treatment.
