Obituary: Chloe Lyons Mattingly, 100, Lebanon

Chloe Lyons Mattingly, 100, of Lebanon, died Thursday, June 25, 2015, at the Village of Lebanon.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Mattingly; her parents, Afton and Ida Bohannon Lyons; one daughter, Libby; one son, Joe Mattingly; one granddaughter, Karen White; and three sisters, Gladys, Stella and Retha.

Survivors include three daughters, Joyce (Joe Paul) Spalding, of Lebanon, Dot (Tom) Mills of Louisville and Martha (Eddie) Johnston of Lawrenceburg; two sons, Pat (Leta) Mattingly and Mike (Nina) Mattingly, both of Louisville; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

At her request, cremation was chosen. There will be no services for the public. A private family burial will take place at a later date.

The Bosley Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
