BETTY ANN MCCUBBINS

Betty Ann McCubbins, 67, of Bardstown, died Saturday, July 4, 2015, in Jewish Hospital in Louisville. She was the former Betty Ann Mattingly. She was born Dec. 5, 1947, in Nelson County to the late Theodore and Adena Peck Mattingly. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bardstown Church of God.

She is survived by her husband, Morris McCubbins; two daughters, Missy (Bill) Smith of Brooks and Wendy (Brent) Lee of Cox’s Creek; one son, Tim McCubbins of Bardstown; three sisters, Doris (Bill) Breeden of Bardstown, Linda (David) Blair of New Hope, and Barbara (Earl) Morris of Eastview; four brothers, Teddy Mattingly and Jerry (Sharon) Mattingly, both of Cox’s Creek, Larry Mattingly of Bloomfield, and Donnie (Frances) Mattingly of Bardstown; and 11 grandchildren, Samantha Smith, McKayla Smith, Junior McCubbins, Bradley Lee, Sophia Lee, Seth Lee, Nicole Thomas, Zachary Thomas, Justin Smith, Willie Torres, and Darlan Torres.

The funeral is 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at the Bardstown Church of God with Bro. Doug Lutes officiating. Burial is in the Highland Memory Garden at Mount Washington.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home in Bardstown, and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday at the Bardstown Church of God.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home in Bardstown is in charge of arrangements.
