Sunday, July 5, 2015, 10 p.m. — Police are investigating the disappearance of a Bardstown woman whose car was found abandoned on the Bluegrass Parkway.
Nelson County Sheriff Ed Mattingly reports the sheriff’s office is conducting a missing person investigation of Crystal M. Rogers of Bardstown. According to Mattingly, Roger’s family located her car, a maroon 2007 Chevrolet four-door, abandoned with a flat tire near the Bluegrass Parkway’s 14 mile marker. Roger’s keys and personal belongings were left in the car.
Rogers is 35 years old, 5-foot-9 in height, 150 lbs with blonde shoulder-length hair. She was last seen by her boyfriend on Friday afternoon, and according to Mattingly, it is uncharacteristic for Rogers to not be in contact with her family.
Anyone with information on this case should contact the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office, (502) 348-3211 or (502) 348-1870. Detective Jon Snow is in charge of the investigation.
