Obituary: Bettie Glenn Drake, 75, Bardstown

BETTIE GLENN DRAKE

Bettie Glenn Drake, 75, of Bardstown, died Monday, July 6, 2015, at her home. She was born Dec. 12, 1939, in Bloomfield. She was employed with Dr. Hendren and Lockett and was a member of Bloomfield United Methodist Church. She enjoyed painting art work.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emily and Glenn Hendren.

She is survived by her loving husband, Eugene Drake of Bardstown; two sons, Robert Hamilton of Lexington and John Hamilton of Bardstown; one sister, Clyda (Kurt) Schubert of Cleveland, Tenn.; andone brother, Dr. Robert (Betty) Hendren of Bloomfield.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday, July 9, 2015, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in the Big Spring Cemetery. The Rev. Jim Hitt will officiate.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2015, and 9-11 a.m. Thursday at Barlow Funeral Home.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
