Obituary: Travis Scott Hill, 25, Chaplin

Travis Scott Hill, 25, of Chaplin, died Saturday, July 4, 2015, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. He was born Aug. 16, 1989, in Bardstown to Earl Hill and Betty Jane Humes. He was a former construction worker for Doc’s Industrial Inc.

He is survived by his mother, Betty “BJ” Humes of Bardstown; his father, Earl Hill of Chaplin; one brother, John Mark Hill of Chaplin; his maternal grandmother, Delcie Humes of Taylorsville; one nephew; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many loving friends.

The funeral is 1 p.m. Friday, July 10, 2015, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Visitation is 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

The Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
