Obituary: Mary Ann Stoner, 70, Bardstown
Mary Ann Stoner, 70, of Bardstown, died Thursday, July 9, 2015, at Hosparus Care Center in Louisville. She was born March 20, 1945, in Bloomfield to the late James Beeler and Alpha Lee. She was retired from Beams Distillery, was working at Goodwill Industries and was a member of Campbells Chapel AME Zion in Bloomfield.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Benjamin Stoner; two children, Darnell Stoner and Melissa Stoner; two brothers, Robert W. Lee Conner and Richard Conner, Jr.; one sister, Margaret Davenport; and her stepfather, Richard Conner.
She is survived by four daughters, Shelia Lydian of Louisville, Sonya (Drake) Hawkins and and Tricia (Renaldo) Turner, both of Columbia, S.C. and Mariam “Celeste” Tonge of Tacoma, Wash.; one Ocelia Bivens of Bardstown; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins;
a special friend, Jimmy Crume of Bardstown.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home.
Visitation is 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
