Obituary: Michael Dean ‘Mike’ Richardson, 52, Chaplin
Michael Dean “Mike” Richardson, 52, of Chaplin, died Sunday, July 12, 2015, at his residence. He was born Feb. 19, 1963, in Nelson County to the late Tom and Isabelle Price Richardson. He was the 
owner of Richardson’s General Construction. He was a member of the Chaplin Christian Church but attended the former Chaplin Fork Baptist Church.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Wanda Richardson and Donna Richardson; one brother, Glen Richardson; and one grandson, Cody Rodgers.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Summitt Richardson; one daughter, Stacy Richardson of Springfield; one stepdaughter, Renee Downs of Bardstown; three sisters, Betty Swope of Mount Washington, Dorothy Finley of Louisville and Irene Pinkston of Lebanon; one brother, Kenny (Betty) Casey of Waddy; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday, July 16, 2015, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Bro. Tom Sparrow officiating.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
The Houghlin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
